Elementary School Partnership Opportunities
Sponsor a Work Night:
Every month, we host work nights where volunteers put together encouraging care packages for teachers of the Rally elementary schools, and work on projects the schools send our way— whether cutting out signs for decorations, stapling packets, or whatever might lighten their load to focus more on each student. By sponsoring a work night, you will provide the means for to buy products to fill care packages for the teachers, and contribute towards supplies for any projects from the school.
Reserve a Work Night for your Partner School:
Gather your friends, family, and/or co-workers and reserve a month’s work night to be the committed volunteers for assembling care packages for teachers who aren’t yet matched with a group. You can use our office space to have a fun time putting care packages together as a group. It typically lasts from 7-8:30, but we will happily work with your schedule to find a day and time frame that works for you.
This is a great way to be personally involved in the school and with an individual teacher. We will match you with a teacher from the school you choose, and send you a profile they filled out of what makes them feel appreciated and how you could best partner with them. Then, each month, you/your small group will communicate with your teacher to find a time to drop off a personalized care package made by you/your small group. This is a great entry point to encourage teachers, and discover how you might partner with them to fill classroom needs.
Whether volunteering in the school office, book fairs, Fall Festivals, or other events, we need volunteers to partner at each school. If you have a couple hours here and there, this may be a great fit for you. This is a great way to be involved in the life of the school as you integrate yourself into partnering with their specific needs.
